We wish all P.S. 185 students and families a happy, healthy, safe and relaxing summer!
Summer reopens on Thursday, September 10, 2026. Please review the 2026-2027 school supply lists before the first day of school. Supplies may be sent in gradually the first week rather than all at once, as the students are bringing their supplies up. For the first day, students should bring one folder, one notebook and pencils.
We can’t wait to see everyone on the first day!

School starts promptly at 8:00 AM. Students arriving after 8:10 AM are considered late and must be escorted into the building through the main entrance to be signed in by their parent/guardian.
Dismissal starts at 2:10 PM

It is very important a for all students to attend school every day. Regular attendance is critical to school success and even a minimal number of absences during the school year can have a serious impact on a student’s ability to suceed in school and life.
